With that much oil on the ground I'm not sure running the engine is a good idea.

That looks like oil to me. Have you checked your oil level? I had a similar issue, turned out to be the valve cover gaskets were leaking. Oil coating the bottom of my Spyder, and oil all over the interior of the Tupperware. BRP very kindly covered everything under warranty, although I did have to open a case in order to get it done.

With that much oil leaking from the engine be sure to fill her back up before going anywhere. Tell the dealer, the tech needs to put his glasses on.

    Default Yikes...!!

With that much oil on the ground the bottom of the machine should be a mess, if you have been ryding. I would get some engine wash, clean her up, then fire her up and see where it is coming from. If not your thing then take it to another dealer and have them check it out....

    OK.
I had a friend come over to take a look and I guess the oil is coming from the air filter box and the main drain plug.
    Main drain plug just spins.
    Won't get tight.

Who changed the oil last. Sounds like the plug is stripped. Tom

It sounds like there are two problems.
The oil in the air box is probably from over filling the oil to compensate for the oil coming out of the drain plug.

The stripped drain plug is not that uncommon.
There are a variety of ways to fix it but to do it right will probably involve a machine shop.

I had the dealer change the oil about 300 miles ago.
They also installed the dimple plug.
I have had a oil leak since I brought it home with 12 miles on it.
Do you think the drain plug could have been a problem since day 1????

    Default Yes!!

Bingo! First, drain and repair drain plug threads. Then, fill properly! Get a new dealer, but let them know what they did!! Joe
