Default Loose reflectors on front fenders

The reflectors on my front fenders are loose. I'm guessing they're attached with nuts and bolts, but I cant get behind the fender to tighten them up. My solution to get under the fender with a wrench appears to be either remove the fenders, or remove the wheels.
Has anyone ever had to tighten these up, and what method did you use to get in there?

    Thanks

    Pam

You're referring to the reflectors that fit in that top "rib"?
If that's the case: lift the bike up, and pull the wheel.
There are about five bolts that hold the rib on.
(I'm not sure which five... )
If you pull the wrong ones; you'll be loosening the fender from it's mounting brackets...
Those reflectors are held on with some "push-nuts"
(The just slip over a plastic stud, and are pressed into place.
You should be able to push them back down.
I'd try using a small socket, that fits down over the stud, and catches the ends of the nuts...
    Good Luck!

Removal of the tire is your best option.

It's been quite a while, since I had mine off; I'm hoping that my memory is close enough, to help you.

the best way to get to it all is removing the wheel. You will see it all and it is only three nuts to get the wheel off..

Thanks! Sounds like removal of the wheels is what I'll do.

When you take the wheels off, on the underside there are five "screws", not bolts. The bolts hold the fender on and the screws hold the raised part of the fender on the fender. The reflectors are held on by what looks like a star washer. They're just pressed on and they grip. You might have to just press them on better or you might have to remove them, flatten them and reinstall them.

Just use a small, flat bladed, screwdriver to pry open one or two of the pieces that grip. It should then slide off.

It may sound complicated, but once you take your wheel off and look underneath, it'll make sense.

If you send me your email address, I'll scan the directions and send them to you. The directions are for installing the TricLED fender lights but it'll show you which screws to remove to take off the raised part.

    It's pretty easy.

The red ones that are on the rear of the fenders. Sorry, I should have stated that.

It shouldn't matter which ones: you've still got to remove that rib, to get to either of them.

Very ture but i found it quite easy to rwmove the fender and then the 5 screws. 2 with a nut driver and 3 with torx or rhe other way around.
Then take those pesky metal holders off and flatten them out and push them back on

Pam while you have it all apart put double sticky tape under the reflectors. They will never come lose again, and you will not have to go through this again.

Or just use a little super glue on the corners of the reflectors.

Thanks to the instructions that Copperman emailed to me, I was able to figure this out and get it done. Once I got the reflectors tightened up, and everything put back together, I went and ordered the fender lights from TricLED. Oh well, at least I got a practice run in before the LEDs get here
