    Default RT-622 Lid seals

Can someone post a pic of what the seals look like for the 2 lids on the 622 and a size/measurement of the seal. Just got a 622 and it didn't have the seals installed. Also if you could post a pic of where the seal runs on the lid as well. Thanks,
    Shane

Not at home so I cannot take a picture until I get home this evening. You can purchase the seals from SpyderPops.

Here is the link that will show you the seals

if you do not have seals, you probably don't have the water management system either, you will have to buy that from your dealer or BRP.

The weatherstrip (SEALS) go on the box not on the doors.

Ok, I think I already have them installed. The previous owner handed me a section of rubber seal but it just looks like bulk seal and said it goes on the lid. Based on the previous comments, the rubber seal that goes on the box itself is there. So I guess I'm good to go then?

Looks like your Seal (weatherstrip) has come apart (separated), order a new one (set) from spyderpops

So does the round seal sit on top of the seal that cover the lip of the box?

A tip from Capt. Jack. After installing the new seals, spray them lightly with silicone spray every 3-4 months. This prevents the seals from sticking to the lid when closed tight for long periods of time. If this happens the rubber pulls off the mounting flange and the results are what you have.

You can purchase Silicone Spray at Home Depot or any hardware store. I use it as a lube on almost everything. It is non greasy and dirt will not cling to it.

    Over and Out, Jack

Good seals like the ones I sell don't need any spray and they don't come apart.

In the extreme heat here in the Southwest with the lids latched for long periods they will stick if dry. We have no humidity and when the rubber begins to dry it adheres to the lids.
