    Default ST Windshield Tilt Adjustment

I saw a post somewhere where someone added a couple brackets to extend the windshield more vertically or further from the rider. Now I can't seem to find that post. Has anyone done something like this and if so pictures and thoughts on if it helped with buffeting and the air pocket for the rider?

Not sure saw same thread but there was a member from down under or NZ was selling a windshield tilt bracket. Had some thumb screws & guides to tilt out 50* more. Looked neat but all I remember about it.

Just get a California Scientific Windshield and you will not have any more buffeting. I got an extra wide large. The extra large is too big in my opinion. There is a thread that talks talks about a mod to the bracket to deal with the extra weight of the shield.

I have the CalSci windshield also and did a mod on my bracket to handle the extra weight. BRP offers an upgraded kit you can buy to do the same thing as the mod, however the mod only cost me about 3 bucks in parts where as the kit I believe is around 15-20 dollars.

3dollars?, for what?, The mod only requires 4 or 8 washers the diameter of those tiny springs. I did however lay down some big bucks and bought larger screws and nuts for the windshield.

    Default Adjustable tilt bracket U

I saw the post from Australia but the website doesn't list the brackets so believe they are not available any longer. I thought if there is a cheap mod I would try that first. I was hoping to avoid buying a whole new shield. I did this in the past on a Valkyrie I had and a 1 1/2 inch forward tilt made a large difference and look like a factory part of the bracket
