    Default power steering

I've looked around but didn't find an answer. How does one know if the power steering is working properly?? On my 15 RT I feel a good bit of steering assist at parking lot speeds but above that virtually nothing. Last weekend we did about 300 miles of twisty roads and it the tight stuff power assist would have been welcome. I don't have access to another machine to compare and the dealer is 3 hours away. TIA

That's the way that they're designed to work. Yours is normal.

Bob's right, but one thing that you may be having issues with is bad alignment. If your bike is toed out you will be fighting turns. Have you had it laser aligned?

MAke sure front tire pressure is good too.. I found 20 PSI made it steer even better. Other than that is should steer easy..Spyder ANN has good info too.

    Default All of the above...

Start with the tire pressure and get the laser alignment done regardless. The clutch assist works the same way if you have it. Soft in traffic etc gets heavy on the open road....

Laser aligned, Bajaron sway bar, Polaris spring spacers and air pressure is at 22 psi. I like the higher air pressure cause it takes some of the flex out of the two ply tires. It's probably is as good as it's going to get.
