    Default Gas Mileage WOW

I am impressed with the mileage I got today. I use premium unleaded in my 2015 RTL. Two of us on bike and got little better then 37 MPG.

That's very good MPG! I consistently get 35 on my RT, but I ride very aggressively. On the highway doing 75-85mph on long trips I get considerably less because of the high revs. But I bought the Spyder for enjoyment, not for fuel efficiency, so I just say, "Ride On".

I recently had to apologize big time to my beloved Spyke because I thought her mileage sucked so badly that I almost asked about it in here. I was just tanking up all the time. But I decided I'd better do some official calculations before bothering the group, so I took notes every time I hit the pumps. Turns out, I'm getting 42 mpg. I ride solo on flat, secondary roads and, obviously, am not heavy on the throttle, but even so, I didn't think she was doing better than about 28. Gotta love our Spydies!

I average 37mpg on Cocaine. Whether Pebbles is riding with me, or if I am by myself. With my wife I have to ride slower on turns, which counter acts the additional weight. When by myself, I am pounding the hell out of the bike through the twisties. Less weight but faster. It all equals out for me.

I usually average around 30 mpg with my RS but i have a very heavy right wrist( as amatter of fact its very hard to type sometimes) but i was on a group ride with a friend and he is very smooth and steady and i averaged 35mpg and fuel light did not come on until 160 miles

its all about having fun and enjoying the ride

I normally get 33-35 ,but I got 39.1 on the last tank(best ever). I am in an area with lots of hills and valleys and I normally have some interstate running at 75 mph so I guess that is killing my mpg's. I hope to take it through eastern NC going to Wilmington,NC in a couple weeks, I'll see how mostly flat land profiles work and it is 55-60 mph the whole way.

My average for the last six tankfulls is 37.4 mpg. I drive fairly easy, 55-60, but my speedo regularly sees 3 digits in short drag-bursts.

If you think in "Smiles per Mile", rather than "Miles per Gallon"; you'll be MUCH happier!
