I did not get the manual with my BRP hitch. Can someone tell how to take it off the easy way. or send me a pdf copy of the manual.

There is a cotter pin that you need to remove first on the right side then you need 2 - 19mm wrenches to loosen the bolts then you pull out the axle. When the axle is removed you can remove the hitch by either pulling it or hitting it with a rubber mallet.

And having just installed one, also don't forget to the watch the wiring harnesses and the brake lines.

Can't get a tool in there to take it loose.

One of the hardest decisions you'll ever face in life is choosing whether to walk away or try harder.

    Default Hmmmm

After 40 or 50 of them, Ann knows what she is talking about. Good tip on the wires and lines! Be careful. Takes 5 minutes to remove. Have a big mallet!

That's what I do. Life is already complicated. Don't over-think it.

But you actually need to remove the back axle on the spyder to remove the full hitch?

No - the hitch has it's own axle (really just a long bolt)that goes through the Spyders axle. You do not touch the Spyder's axle.

Don't forget to install a new cotter pin in the castle nut after you remove the hitch.

If it has one. Both of our F3's do not have castle nuts on the axle. At 166 foot pounds of torque I am not worried about them coming loose.
