15 amp accessory plug
I need to add a 15 amp accessory plug on my 2014 RT. I have a emergency air compressor that draws 15 amps. The outlet in the trunk is only 5 amps. Any suggestions?

Air compressor
The 12 volt Slime compressor I have is only 8 amp, but it takes a good while to inflate a Spyder tire.

I had the same issue
I had the exact same issue. Popped the 5 amp fuse within seconds of trying to air up the Spyder Tire.
We simply pulled the blown fuse and replaced it with a 15 amp fuse- should be fine for things like that. Normally people only charge cell phones etc., which draw little power.
Good luck!
