    Default Squeaky DPS??

I have a 2014 RT Ltd with about 13,000 miles on it. I am currently on a 4000 mile trip and am experiencing a squeaking sound that is steering related. When I am stationary or moving very slowly in a parking lot and apply pressure to the handle bars, I hear a squeaking or chirping sound sound coming from an area forward of the engine. The steering seems to work fine and I don't (or can't) hear it at speed. I am guessing something with the DPS. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Lastly, this occurs both cold and hot. Thanks!!

    Default New one...

Not sure what system they use to hold the steering shaft in place and pivot. Have not seen an option for lubricating that area not to say you can't pull some Tupperware and give it a shot of wd40 or lithium grease. Let us know what you find...

It's not a sound like a dry joint that needs a shot of lube. The closest description is an old v-belt on a car that is chirping or slipping a little under load.

    Default Squeaky Fan Belt?

Somebody please chime in here and help this guy out. Cuz I'm thinking I'm starting to hear the same thing on my 2012 RT-S SE5 with 53K miles.
