    Default WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

If you are facing the FRUNK , and you have an RT-S it should be just below the fog light......you can't see it or get to it.....without taking off the FRUNK and some inside panels ......Mike

Mine is off about 6 degrees when moving. Totally off the charts sitting still. Can this be adjusted?

Isn't it nice when its actually warmer than you think?

One of the most common problems that come with our $30K machines.

AFAIK, that temp reading is NOT the outside air temp of even ambient temp.... it's the temp of the air flow under all the Tupperware that ends up in the engine!!

So yeah, once the engine has warmed up, then the indicated temp is probably almost always going to be a tad warmer than the outside air temp. There is no (easy) way to change that, & really, you probably shouldn't want to try.... If you extend the temp sensor wires so that you can put the sensor outside the Tupperware, then the reading will be low when the sensor is in the shade & it's cold outside; but when the sensor is in the sun it'll be showing higher than ambient!! Similarly, adjusting the reading reported from the sensor is STILL not going to give you an 'accurate' or even an 'all that reliable' indicated ambient or outside air temperature, so why not leave it reporting something that should be of some importance to you as a rider??

    Default Sensor

If it's anything like a car, that sensor is used to calibrate the fuel mixture of the fuel injection. If that's the case, you don't want to do anything with it.

Peter's right: this is the AAPT sensor readings, and it's measuring temperature and pressure for the air/fuel mixtures. It really has nothing to do with how many layers of clothing you'll need.
