In all honesty, for less money you might consider the Pitbull Powersports entire cat back system. They seem to be getting popular and come in at around $500 complete for the items, any installation costs are extra.

Being so new you will probably not find any here but perhaps ebay, amazon, salvage yards. or... and a ton of other pipe options.....

I have seen a few used ones on Ebay but be sure that they have the baffles if you want a quiet ride. I just bought a new for my 14 and it came with out them, way to loud for me. When I went back I was informed that they no longer sell them with the baffles but they had last years model still in stock which did so the swapped me out.

No real difference in power, I had one on my 2011 and it definitely improved my mid range.

First I thing I want to get the Akrapovic muffler, but I see all this about pitbull, 2 brothers, etc...the video from Can Am says
only the Akrapovic won't void Warranty. Not sure about the CATBACK system and so forth...can someone walk me through this
in very generic terms?

Yes, because Akrapovic designed only Slip-on for Can-am
everythings changes exhaust(catback) are not structural warranty by BRP

when I called can am they told me they can only tell me its available or not available to talk to the dealership about fit???

when I called the service dept he told me I had more info than he did and then he say oh yeah it says 991 engine...so I guess they don't have anything for the new engine...

I found my part # for mine.
It's for a 1330 RT, 219400650
Although mine didn't come with baffle inserts, which I was able to find later with the generosity of this forum.
A lot of people run the muffler without the inserts and love it. Good luck, Ron

NO - the Slip on Akropovic Muffler for the 991 motor in a 2013 or earlier RT or any year model GS, RS, RSS, or ST WILL NOT simply 'slip on' to any Spyder with the 1330 triple motor - there is no confusion or discussion here, it is abundantly clear for most at a moments glance that any Slip on Muffler made for or with the part no for the 991 V-Twin motor IS NOT a direct swap or straight fit for the 1330 triple motor; the engine pipes & cat converter/primary mufflers are quite different, as are the mounting points!!

That said, all the V-Twins with SE transmissions only scored the SE5; only the Spyders with the 1330 Triple got the SE6; and there are definitely Akropovic mufflers made for those Spyders that run the 1330 motor with the 6 speed gearbox (SE or SM!) you just hafta find the mufflers/part no's that suit those motors - the 1330 motor'ed Spyders need mufflers with different part numbers to those that will fit onto the RT's up to & including the 2013's & all the GS, RS, RSS, & ST's - cos all those earlier Spyders with 5 speed trans (SE or SM) came with the V-Twin Motor.... All the RT's from 2014 on come with the 1330 triple & the 6 speed trans (2013's & earlier had the V-twin motors & therefore the 5 speed trans!); all the F3's come with the 1330 triple & 6 speeders; and NONE of the GS, RS, RSS, or ST's came with the 1330 triple or 6 speed trans!! OK? Clear as, eh?

Good Luck Marty, they are out there, (looks like Woodyaa has the part # for you!) altho as with anything BRP or Akropovic, they aren't cheap!
