    Default Passenger speakers

Just purchased a 2012 RT Audio and Convenience. I thought there were passenger speakers, but no sound. How can I find out?

    Default 2012 A & C

My X - GF had that model and it had rear speakers.......Check your preferences screen and see if they are turned up loud enough so you can hear then........Although the sound won't impress you, the BRP - RSI 4" speakers break up sooner than the fronts .......IMHO........that's why I changed to the JBL - 2 OHM models................and they will ROCK YOU.........................Mike

We got a new to us 2012 RT A&C last fall, you can barely hear the rear speakers, I've tried changing the fader and balance and it makes very little difference. Must just be one of those things, I couldn't hear it anyways unless I was stopped so it's not an issue for me.

    Default Passenger speakers don't work.

Still no sound. How do I get inside the rear speaker housing?

The AC model did not come with rear speakers. That is an add on.

If you want to put them in yourself you will need the speakers AND the wiring. There is a kit from BRP.

I did a video when I upgraded my Speakers and show you how to get at them in the front and rear.

The USPS has delivered me a HUGE project...
I might just chicken-put, and call the dealer!

    Yup!
Start the bike, but leave it in neutral, with the parking brake on...
Hit the "mode" button, until you see the personal preferences screen.
Scroll down (down button), until you see "audio"
    Hit the "right" button
Scroll down to the "fader", then hit "right" again.
This should allow you to adjust the front to rear balance.
