ok. my name is irvin . wife, joyce. we are sw of rockford ill. camefrom
9 years of a honde 1300c, and now a victory cross roads, which i love.
but, being past ss and medicare age, the bike is getting heavier. was
gonna do a cal sidecar trike conversion till i heard the mufflers. tried a new rtl
at loves park motorsports, and decided this might be the way to remain upright
and sane[jury still out on the sane part. most expensive anything ive ever
bought, except my shop building].decided on a rts. we have a garmin, and
dont need a luggage bag. they found a leftover white '15. hopefully pick
it up fri. sposed to rain sat and sun. will probably ask a lot of stupid ?'s
that have already been asked. have spent hours onthe forum , youtube,
and everything else i can get my hands on. this is not a toy for the faint of
heart. this is our retirement present. hope its a good decision. have had great luck
with all the other bikes. this one is poses a lot of work to do anything on it. i do almost
all my maintenance, and this one scares the heck out of me. thank for reading. i type w/2
fingers.

New to the Forum
I am also new to the Forum. I don't have a trike YET, I'll have to wait til next year but I thought I'd get started on this journey taking a suggestion from my friend Devious56. I'm an ex-two wheeler who has been away from riding for about 8 years due to medical complications. My wife and I used to enjoy taking the Harley to Door County for a few days when we both could get away. We really miss doing that. We were at a stop light the other day and saw a couple pull up on this great looking RT-S. We looked at each other and decided this is what we need!
I've been reading the posts on the forum and have determined that this is a fantastic group of folks who enjoy what they do. I had 37 years on the railroad and didn't get much of a chance to spend much time doing things I wanted to do let alone spend time with my family. I think the time is now and I think the time couldn't be better spent than on a SPYDER with my wife!

find a dealer who will let you ride one. look like there are quite a few relatively
close to you. just a matter of finding one who will treat you right.
