Looks like I either messed up the light by running over something or someone bumped it when I wasn't around. Either way the question is can I somehow fix these or do I need to buy a new light strip?

I will bet if you turn the key on and then gently press in on the area by the last lit LED the rest will come on. The problem is they tack soldered LED strips together with the new lead free solder which can't handle vibration to well so the joint failed. This is a manufactured defect when they put several strips together before they put the clear urethane coating on it.
You have to be a surgeon to be able to solder it together I would suggest buy a new LED strip I fixed it once and it failed again in another section they're too delicate for the vibration but I love the lights
