I would its pretty far away and its too cold to ride without my heated gear. Next week should be better.
I also want him to look at the heated grips he put in. They only get hot when the bike is moving, then cool off when I am stopped at a light. The problem is I don't have a ride to and from the dealership. I paid for a cab once, but it was $50.
mostly the panel above the one you want comes off first and then the one you need to remove.... have you checked that the cable is reachable from under the seat..? just wondering on mine (RS) it is under the seat....

There is a auxillary power outlet under the seat- I attached my controller for my glove liners under the seat and then attach it to Velcro along the side of the frame when I want to use it!
I really don't know how its attached. When I take the seat off I don't see the wires. I would like iMotorsports to look at a few other things. But since I don't have a ride, its expensive for me to leave it there. The cab is $50. Perhaps I can get iMotor to take me home if I pay them.
The one circled in red. The guy who worked on my bike hide my power cable to heat my electric gear behind this panel.
You will have to remove the seat as well as the forward panel. Only 4 screws and 2 bolts to get to the rear panel. Once you have access to it, just unscrew it and there is a tab that will have to be pushed in to remove it. Be careful with the tab.
