    Default Installing Shortie Aentena

Just bought the shortie...any suggestions on what to use to carve out the hole in the old rubber boot to fit the shortie?

I just used a utility knife and made three slits radiating out maybe one quarter inch long. That made enough room for the antenna to pass through and left enough pressure to reseal. I used a Shorty from wally world.

    Piece of cake.

I have used my Dremel, with a stone bit, and bore the hole gradually, makes a lot of dust, but worked perfectly.
