I bought mine used, almost exactly two years ago. I bought it in Southern California and was not about to ride up I-5 this time of year. I also did not own any gear for riding at that time.

It cost me about $600 to have it shipped. Yes, it was worth it.

i bought my first Spyder off EBay and flew to Columbia MO alone to pick it up. Rode 650 miles back to Michigan. The second Spyder was purchased while at Spyderfest -1400 miles from home. The current one I bought locally.

I rode from my ST.... Honda ST1100 that is from San Francisco CA. to Cabo San Lucus Mexico and back... does that count
Spyder about 800 miles each way to Salt Lake City and back.

When you bought at Spyderfest did you go thinking you were going to purchase a new bike or were you made "an offer you couldn't refuse?"

I guess I also win the wimp award for purchasing my spyder. I bought it from a dealer in Texas, and had it shopped to Apex, NC. I had to walk all the way down my driveway (about 100ft.) to let the delivery guy show me how to go through the gears.
I did travel 10 hours one way to purchase my first M109R, but I picked it up on my truck. The longest distance that I have driven to pick up a motorcycle is about 200 miles to purchase my 2nd. M109R.

So. Oregon to Salt Lake City (~760 miles each way) for my 2013 ST Limited.

1800 miles for me. Flew from Phoenix to Chicago using miles to pay for flight. Drove it home.

Got out great deal on very low mileage 2014 RT. The drive home was great except for sore butt. I'd never driven that far on a bike so learned a lot along the way.

I would do it again!

I drove 25 miles to get my 2015 RT Limited. But, It took me just a little over 400 miles to get it home. Amazing how that happens !!!!! LOL !!!!

Drove south for an hour + from Arlington, WA to SeaTac airport. Flew down to Dallas, got a ride east for an hour (to Greenville) to pick up my F3S, rode back over several days. Great deal on the bike and a wonderful adventure. 500 miles would be a piece of cake for you!

Well after two trips to Tennessee 720 miles total I finally got my dream bike. A 2014 RT limited Cognac colored . I'm so pumped thank goodness (150 miles to go)......

Did I mention it only has 2000 miles on it.

I bought at Holzhauer also, however for me it was about 1375 miles ( Vermont ).....flew out drove it back ....................Mike

They treated me very good. The sales person I purchased from is Andrea. We did everything by email and phone call. The morning I was there to pick it up she had it cleaned and ready to go and helped to load it on the trailer. No hassle didn't try to sell me anything else, just the way I like it here's the price and done. I would purchase from them again.

I'm always surprised at the wide range in price from one Can Am dealer to another when it comes to new current year Spyders. Seems there is a handful of dealers across the country that can continually beat the price of many local dealers even when u factor in shipping across the country.

Pitbull Powersports is 750 miles away to purchase my Spyder.....they are my dealer....travel there if I need anything.....my husband just went 2 weeks ago back to Pitbull to purchase his Triple Black F-3....#1 dealer in America check them out

Drove for four days and trailered it back. 2013 RT Limited w/matching trailer, 9,000 miles, $14,400 out the door through a dealer, with 3/36 "warranty". No one in the east could get close!

Drove about 90 miles from Sandersville to Covington both cities in GA to get my 2012 Limited rode it back home. I had not driven a 3 wheeler before only rode 2 wheelers. It was a very different experience and i loved it!!!

I went 199.4 miles from central Vermont to Derby Line, to pick up my 2014RTS-SE6.

I drove my 2012RTS-SE5 up to Derby Line, and drove my 2014RTS-SE6 back. Total of hours 4. ( 2 hours up, and 2 hours back home) Deanna

I like some others found a deal on line and took it to 2 dealers... The one closest was like can't do it the other came very close so went with that.
