Default Won't go into reverse, won't automatically downshift

Bike has been sitting a few months. GO for a ride and reverse doesn't work, then, after a few miles, it won't automatically downshift. Any thoughts?

2015 RT with 3000 miles. Going in for service next weekend.

    Thanks

    Default A wild guess

I do not know much about the SE transmissions, but could your oil level be a little low? I am also posting this to keep your issue at the top of the new post. Just sayin'............
Three in the garage, and I think I can fit at least one more in.....and then we will have to build another garage.

My shop manual says they need to plug in to the BUDS system and check the reverse switch and/or the hydraulic control module. Apparently nothing you can do yourself without the test equipment.

Nice Starship in the photo by your Spyder!

    Default oil

If it was a twin, I'd say check oil first... not sure whether this is as much an issue with the triple. Keep us posted?

You could check the relay but PMK is probably right that it has to do with that service bulletin

    Default Thanks

Thanks. No codes. I'll bring it into the shop Saturday.

Too rainy to ride to test more right now. Seattle in Spring!
