    I am pretty sure you already know this about the 1330/3. Early oil change and filter cannot hurt though.

    First service is around 3,000 miles. Then, 9,000 or so later (12,000) then, 9,500 or once a year--whichever comes first. An improvement over the twin cylinder 998's.

    Flamingobabe: I remember you from the VRCC. I've said this before, it's amazing how many Valkyrie owners have bought Spyders.

    I have read that.. but I'm sure I will keep to my 5000 mile oil changes.. It will be good on a long trip not to have to change mid trip!!!

    Yep still have it.. have gone through it... rebuilt the carbs .. and have it running GREAT!!!!! It REALLY SCATS!!!!!
