    Default Nelson rigg saddle bags

Has anyone used a set of these on there spyder? If I ever get my spyder back from the shop I would like to put some miles on it again!! The price is right and they look like they hold a lot...so if anyone has used please let me know how they are.

Can't say on the Spyder, but I had a pair I used on my Harley. I bought mine for around $60 and used them for 10 years. The last three years I just left them on my bike. They did start fading, but the zippers and straps held up very well. The last year they started losing their shape. When I bought my Spyder I sold them for $30. No complaints at all.

Yes I have one. I can't remember the model but it's the smallest one they make. Get the one with strap tie downs.

What's the main reason why your CAS 455 tank bag is not a fit for the RT ?

    Covers the switches ?
    Covers the GPS ?
Would those problems be resolved by reversing the bag orientation ? I've done that on more than a few bags.

Their website says it will not fit RT, ST and ST-L

Think I'll buy one anyway and make it work.

It didn't take much to work out how to fit a CAS 455 tank bag onto my RT - I really don't know why they say they don't fit them, it's really not too hard??!

After reading this thread I realized this was just what I was looking for. The CL-890 Mini Expandable Sport Motorcycle Saddlebags came in today. Good looking bags and will add the little bit of extra room that I needed. Looking forward to a chance to use them. Thanks for starting this thread.

    Default Fanny Pack

The size of the "Fanny" can be a determining factor in how the bags (Pack) appear. Looks just right to me maybe its the small fanny

    Thumbs up Soft Saddlebags

How are you mounting the Soft bags on the ST?

I have soft bags that are not yet mounted. It looks like I can run a strap under the seat and tie to the passenger grab rail. I don't know how to stabilize the bag from flopping into the drive belt on the left side. I'm worried about contact with the painted side panels. Anyone have ideas of pictures of an ST mount for soft bags??
I have the SM with passenger floor boards.

    Thanks.
    David C.
