Default Picked It Up This Weekend

I picked up Spyder this past Saturday and went for a nice ride on Sunday. It's a tight fit in the garage. I have to park it sideways, but it fits!!!

Is that a front end of a Corvair I see? I'm still wondering how you got your Spyder in your garage sideways.

i assume you dont drive the mustang very often. i worked hard to make enough room in my garage so i can park my car, yamaha and spyder so that i can pull each out without having to move one of the others, wasnt easy though
    Congrats!

    It's a 66 convertible with a 289, auto trans, pony interior, power steering/brakes. Completely restored in 2012.

You are correct on the Corvair, a 65 convertible. I am doing a full restoration. To get the Spyder in sideways, I can get the front end in without any problem and use the garage jack under the rear swing arm to lift the back tire and use the jack to push the back end of the Spyder in.

We had a yellow 66 convertible also, but I believe it had a six in it...
