I believe that the rear calipers on all the bikes are the same. If you look at the piston it has two holes in the face. Insert the tips of a stout pair of needle nose pliers and turn I believe counter-clock wise until the piston is seated flush with the caliper housing. Reinsert your pads and shims CORRECTLY and all should be well. Wisdom passed on from Anne's husband in Nevada; the squared away couple! Pm me if you have other ?'s

2008-2012 you used a C clamp to press the piston in.
In 2013 and above when they went to Brembo brakes, you now screw the piston in.

...More info would be helpful.....did you have the emergency brake on ???? ( you shouldn't - the PADS won't even screw in )......are you changing PADS or just putting the same ones back in ????.....Mike

I read that the belt tension is spposed to be 160 to 180 lbs. Does that sound right ? Thanks for your help. Pete
