Default Saddle Bags for 2008 Spyder GS

I have been trying to search for some hard cased Saddle bags for my 2008 Canam Spyder GS.
Anyone have suggestions of which type will work.
    Thanks
    Bill

There are the expensive Can-Am saddlebags or you can get some V35 Givi bags with the mounting hardware. There used to be lots of them around for sale on eBay or Craigs List. You should be able to find some used ones at some motorcycle wreckers some where. By the way ST & RS saddlebags are the same.

Correct me if I am wrong but...while the bags itself are the same the mounting hardware is different.

    Hi Bill,

Since I'm on an RT; I've never kept track of the products that can be added to an RS...
But I still wanted to welcome you into our happy little corner of the internet!

The RS & ST mounting hardware is the same. I know because my wife had both models.

From the 2016 catalog. In this case a GS is the same as a RS. Also that's the Canadian price shown.

If you look for a used set. Make sure you get all the mounting hardware parts. Givi also made a mounting kit that I think is no longer available. That will be in the used market.

I believe that with the aftermarket mounting hardware you may have an issue if you have passenger floorboards. Other than that you are good to go.

Gs and rs are the same! They just change gs for rs in 2009!

I have this set for sale for 700.00 shipped. Came off of a 2008 gs. There are some scratches, the worst ones are pictured.

    Thumbs up Givi Bags

I find my Givi bags very handy , look great as they colour match my Silver and black GS , and they pop on and off in seconds with a key ..... A little pricey new but worth it if you use them often
