Yes, they did

Moderate power increase with the turbo.Proably running less then 10lbs of boost in the concept to be safe.Lots of potential for more if the motor can take it.Be interesting if they come out with a production model next year.

That is one sick looking machine!

Looks like the granny sitter was taking a nap. This machine performs more like many of us would prefer IMHO.
I would like to see the turbo plumbing since they are showing three exhaust pipes in the video.

But it's got "cool": all over the place!
The "Cool" factor has won me over like the F3-S. It doesn't matter to me about the Turbo, because my F3-S is quick. The body styling would be the selling point for me if Can-Am build this. Yellow is a colour that I don't like, but since seeing it on the F3 Turbo, it looks stunning. The minute I hear Can-Am turning this concept into a production model, I will place my deposit and part ex-change my F3-S. I will watch this space along with others.

I really do dig the look, especially with the elevated front nose, but it really does make it look more lawn tractor looking.....[emoji38]

R U sure it's not the knock off valve (Dump Pipe) output if over boost occurs ??

Interesting. ...
The 998 twin used in the Aprilla machines develop 150 hp and don't have a turbo. Seems they could have gotten more out of that engine... But it looks good for those who like the F3...

What I don't understand is.......
Yamaha just released a 998cc turbo 4-stroke snowmobile engine that puts out 195 hp. https://www.yamahamotorsports.com/sn...e-yamaha-power
BRP is only pulling 150hp out of a 1330 turbo.......why. I would think the 1330 could pull 130 hp in stock form (no turbo) pretty easily if BRP wanted it too.

It's all in how they want the power being delivered.
Since most motorcycles are about half the weight of a Spyder; they can tune them for more peak horsepower, and not worry about having a fat torque curve.
We're moving a whole lot more poundage around, so torque is much more important than horsepower.

I like it. Glad to see they are being creative and expanding their thinking.

As someone that had an F3 engine turn into meat grinder with less than 10 miles on it, I would question reliability with any power adder.
