    That's why you should always check for throttle operation, before cranking one of these up.
    If they're being ridden the way that they were meant to; they'll be living in a pretty muddy and cruddy environment... that stuff can stick a throttle open in a heartbeat!

    . Seeing it was cold out, I'm thinking a little to much moisture in the cable or linkage froze things up.

    Default Here's the thing....

    You should never start a vehicle when you are not at the controls (in this case sitting on it). Especially off road, while working shops during my bike years I have seen this many times. Have seen a few cars with remote starters and standard trans do this as well. Well at least till they hit the wall or the car in front of them..Glad no one was hurt and it finally rolled cause that quad could have kept going till it ran out of gas like a pinball machine...
