If you put it on a key chain don't you end up with 4-5 Keys (Or More) Hanging from the ignition??
I can't stand that! This is one area Harley has figured out. Only need the key if you want to lock the ignition. Don't have to leave it in for the bike to run.
Personally, I leave my key in the spyder pretty much all the time and keep any other keys in the trunk. Most people couldn't figure out how to start it anyway... [emoji23] If I do take the key out I just put it in my pocket.

Same here, with one addition. Wife carries the second Spyder oem key in her purse in the event key #1 gives us grief.
