    Default Let's see....

Good rule of thumb is follow the manufacturers recommondations. Usually found in the manual. This could only vary with the use it gets and the products used which also have recommondation.

Go by what your owners manual says. I just had my antifreeze changed and when they tested it it had deteriorated. 2012 that just reached the 14500 mile service changes a couple of months ago.

I recently posted about changing the brake fluid. Ours was almost 2 years old and it came out looking pretty bad.

Saying that, I will be replacing the coolant also.

2 years is the planned limit for our machine. I will probably do the brakes again in a few months so I may be just past two years on coolant.

Regardless of how long others told me they ran their brake fluid, ours was really bad at 2 years and around 5500 miles.

Engine oil is mileage based most times, but should be changed every year regardless of miles.
