Default F3 Recall - Chassis reinforcement

Just heard news about F3 Warranty Campaign. Chassis reinforcement is needed due to reports of some F3 chassis breaking.
Going to ring my dealer in morning to get some more clarification on issue. Apparently all F3 models are affected.
Would be great to hear from others on this issue.

    Default what recall?

I haven't heard about the chassis recall. I just plugged in both my VIN and my husband's VIN into the safety recall VIN lookup page on BRP's website. Neither VIN was flagged as having a recall.

    Default Chassis reinforcement

Installing a bracket under the seat needs to be done to rectify problem. Weld at rear shock mount cracking on some F3s. Info gathered is from FB, no info is released on Can-Am site, here is hoping this isn't a wind up.

    Default Here We Go

Showed up at my dealer today with several warranty issues. Bad key and faulty gas cap both of which had been reported and parts ordered. Also noted on the work order was crooked handle bars and foot fairings were cracked. While I was setting in the customers lounge I got a Facebook post that the F3 frames were fracturing at the top shock mount and the date of the bulletin was 12 January 2016. I walked back to the service area and told the service writer to look up the service notice added to my list. The road mobile is really except the reinforcement piece is on order. I've said all along the F3S rear shock was weak and can't handle large folks like me 6"2' 228 lbs. I understand the 2016 has a different rear shock. I'm looking for a change soon.

    Default Recall

I stopped by my dealer yesterday and had them go ahead and open a ticket to order the new part. I didn't want to get caught in the crush at the start of riding season. As soon as the part comes in I'll get a call.

i have booked my spyder for the recall/fitting.
