    Default Spyder Sun Shade

I saw in an older post a sun shade that would cover the seat of the . I like that it would keep the seat cooler in hot sun, a little dryer in a light rain, and the average dingbat from trying to sit on it without asking.
I tracked the one I saw back to Spydersisters.com, but I see that the selection of colors is very limited and a lot are out of stock.
Are there any other products like their sunshade available that anyone has used or seen? Are there other things that will work? I see that some people use a net to keep people off, but that does nothing for the hot seat when you get back on.

Planning for the Utah trip and I know the black seat is going to get hot when parked for hiking.

I found a universal ATV seat cover at Bass pro wrks for me keeps cool & or dry. Namely got it to keep stray cat from picking seat.
fyi velcro straps go underneath & hold secure, out of way of anything under seat

If you can get past the limited availability; the SpyderSisters' sunshade does a really nice job.

I have one, carry it with me and use it all the time. It really does keep the seat cooler. Also keeps the morons off of my Spyder.

    Default cheap sun shade(s)...

I've had a couple so far, 1st one I made from the largest white bath towel Walmart offered, attached Velcro strips on the corners in appropriate places and attached around mirrors and grab handles-works fine but pretty bulky to store in an F3 saddle bag or frunk plus if it gets sprinkled on weighs a ton! 2nd one I did same concept however purchased an plain orange 3' X 5' Polyester flag (matches my frame) from Amazon and attached Velcro to that in the same manner. http://www.amazon.com/Orange-Flag-Pr...Polyester+Flag

Now my all time favorite (but too cheap to buy it) ; http://www.cafepress.com/+beach_towel,1371818869

They have numerous really cool spider printed beach towels, but you also get back to the bulky thing.

Hoping to have someone airbrush a spider on my flag in the future that looks like the beach towel.

    Anyway, hope this helps...

A Cool Ass seat cover works well for me and is also waterproof.

    Default AF towel

We found a large Air Force towel, put grommets in the four corners, attached small bungee cords. Works great.
