I ride with Lamonts IPS most of the time. Had one guy look at it and said, these things have steering dampeners? I looked at him and said, sure do!

A woman asked me if mine was a Star Wars special edition, because it looked just like a storm trooper.

I don't really understand the question"Do you like it? " either, but I always answer very happily "Yes". I don't care how stupid the question is they don't know and they are interested in the machine. I want people interested, very interested and I want them going down to the dealer or doing what I did and looking on KSL to find a used one.I don't care if they are changelings (like me going from 2 to 3 wheels) or newbies that have found a viable way to get knees in the breeze for the first time. I had one guy ask me last week "how fast will it go?" I asked him "how fast do you want to go?" Finally what he really wanted to know was how was it to ride at 70 and 80 on the freeway,it is just fine. Turns out he wants one to ride all over the USA and then maybe some foreign places too. I guess sometimes the questions aren't really so stupid as they aren't sure what to ask.

Sitting in my Drs. office the other day, my nurse commented as to how hot it was outside. I agreed but told her that the A/C on my Spyder kicked in at about 65 mph. "Gee", she said, "I didn't realize motorcycles came with air conditioning". "They don't", I said, "just the Spyders". Didn't have the heart to correct her.
That's one way to "Ride in comfort".

Actually somewhere in my files I have a DYI article on putting some type of heat exchanger on your helmet that gave you some air conditioning. I don't remember all that it entailed but it looked pretty ingenious. The article was from back in the 80's or 90's

    Default Grocery shopping.

Have had many questions. The most enjoyable for me was after our vacation. Only needed a few things for supper so ran with "Bertha" to their store. Of course I bought more than what I went for...

When got back to Bertha the people parked beside me also arrived. They were so intrigued watching me load up the spyder! She had a ton of questions about storage... He had gas milage and engine questions...

At the end of our conversation they noticed I was wearing ear plugs! They had purposely stopped to get ear plugs for when he rode his Harley! We all laughed while I put my rain togs on and ear plugs in... he looked at the sky and wished me luck getting home before then rain??? "That is what they rain gear is for"? Lol.

My wife, Via, and I were married on my RT. That was two yrs. ago. She was a beautiful bride then, at 72, and still looks great in her leathers, when she is riding behind me today. That's us 5/14/2014 on the Oregon Coast.
