1330 OIL DRAIN PLUGS

I will be picking up my new 2015 F3S next week and wanted to order some aftermarket hex head drain plugs for it when I do my own oil changes. I notice in the owner's manual there are two drain plugs. The goldplug.com website lists only one replacement hex head drain plug. On my former ST-S with the 998 engine, I had to order two different size drain plugs. Are the two drain plugs on the 1330 engine the same size?

I bought the Goldplug items for my 1330. I had the Goldplugs on my 998 also. It turns out, one of them is the same one needed on the 998 but there is a 1330 specific for one side. Not sure which is which from senior memory.

I too bought the Dimple plugs. They are clearly superior to OEM. (Not knock OEM because I know they're made to a price point, etc) and are about the best magnetic drain plugs I've ever seen.

The whole issue probably never would have arisen if BRP had specified the same type of plug, Torx or Allen, for both plugs. OTOH, a manufacturer is well within its rights to expect DIYers will check to see what type of bit is required before stuffing a bit in a hole they do not carefully examine beforehand.
