Heart of Washington 2016

Has anyone heard if there will be a Heart of Washington 2016.
I would like to help organize if there is one.
June is an ideal month in Eastern Washington to hold an event.

My idea is a 3 day event.

Friday - Ride in to Paterous Lakeshore Inn
Dinner locally at 6:30

Saturday - take the loop around to Coulee Dam (see map)
Lunch stop
Dinner either locally or ride to Chelan

Sunday - everyone goes home

My thought is more of a meet and greet versus a "rally". The only expense would be your own fuel, hotel, and food. Depending on how many people make reservations would determine whether or not we need to split up the group for the Saturday ride.

Make this low key and least expensive. For Saturday's evening's entertainment we would just gather on the lake front and have some great conversations. There is a good restuarant next door to the hotel. If we get a good count of people ahead time I can set up a reservation. There is "buy your favorite beverage" store in town.

For dates, I was thinking middle to last part of June.

Sounds like something to consider ;-) I can't think of any large scheduled event that would get in the way at this time. Might put the word out on Facebook and get an idea of the reception once you have a better idea of dates. ;-)

Go ahead and get the hotel discount...from experience don't sign a contract guaranteeing "x" # of rooms. I will post on FB as well as Spyder Xperience and see what response we get...yep keep it super simple....Hey I can get a couple mexican train dominoes games together...just thinking "out loud"

Posted inquiry on Fb...Girls on Spyders as well as Spyder Xperience...see what kind of interest is generated.....but even without any #'s I would start "dealing" on motel....let's make this happen. June is an ideal time for ryding in No Central WA...and Pateros is tiny town right on the river and has a fantastic coffee shop ...

I wanted to get hold of you guys after our meeting the 17th to see if it might be possible to get squared away to make a trip up to spokane again the end of may or first part of June. I was going to put it out at the Feb 17th meeting for interest.

Also I think Pateros town has a weekend event the weekend of June 17. It would be awesome if could fine a weekend for Squared Away to get us Squared Away. Stay tuned

Generally speaking for westsiders, will normally not head over to the east side until after Memorial Day. Simply, still chances of having black ice on the passes.

We can either do June 10, 11, and 12 or June 24th, 25th, and 26th.

Any time later will start conflicting with other established rallys.

Loye and I spent last Saturday April 16th at Howard's on the River Lake Shore Inn at Pateros. After staying there we cancelled our reservation at the Pateros Motor Inn.

you bet! We can't set hard appointments; mission creep. In order to take care of everyone, we do what you want, then call the next person. Hard to estimate times if we don't know what you want yet!!😄
