Hi All, I've had my 2012 RTS for a few months, so am still new to Spyder riding and have to say riding at a higher rev range is new to me, I didn't know this until now. Will this reduces the range between fill ups?
Cheers

Hi & welcome Glenn! You've got some beautiful riding there (NZ) I've been told, and also doing research on future dream rides!
PS...You might get a few more replies if you start a new topic on your RPM fuel milage question. I have the 1330.

so far i have determined 998 or 1330 the mileage still sucks, i am going to do a search to see what other milage posts there are but even leaving in the eco mode for a whole tank i have 2 bars left and only 130 miles. However i did not buy the spyder to get good mileage but more range would be nicer.
Anyway congrats from the other side of the world on your new spyder. Enjoy it!

Thanks, I've found if I run with the revs lower than what the advice suggests I can get 250 km before the light comes on from a full tank. That's about 155 miles.

I'm finding that on my 2014 RT-S I'm getting 36-37 MPG. That's mixed riding, both highway and city. That's slightly less than I used to get on my Goldwing, which was about 40 MPG. I had expected better mileage on Spidey!
