Never saw one of these before
I wonder if these are DOT certified?

Thanks for posting the video about the Vozz...
The only downside that I see to it: hooking a communication system to the side of it doesn't look feasible.

One thing that springs to mind - it would only work with short hair as otherwise it's likely to get caught in the mechanism.

It took me awhile to figure out what your signature vids were all about....

$ 900 for a helmet is tough when you know they will modify it for easier emergency removal and better air flow. They may also get a hidden tinted visor so you don't have to swap the front visor.
Then there is the 5 year lifespan for a helmet... If they can get the price point to $500 and add the other features, then it will sell well enough.

[QUOTE=gkamer;1072589]I wonder if these are DOT certified?
After looking at their site, it says it is DOT certified, as well as certified for some other countries' requirements...
I think it is a good idea for a full face helmet. It looks very secure, quick to get on and off, and also provides a tighter area around the bottom of the helmet to prevent excessive airflow.
I could also see where the design provides somewhat of a cervical collar effect; which if it does, would be very good to have in an accident to help prevent a broken neck from occurring.

Certainly some innovative ideas went into the design. In competition helmets, that lower edge is a big topic regarding broken collarbones or worse and one of the driving factors with Leatt Braces.
My Bell Moto 9 has some features not only to protect during impact but to aid in helmet removal after a crash. The side pads are held in by magnets. There is also an option to install the bladder and pump that is used to push the helmet off the top of the skull.
Many neat features on the VOXX.
