    do you have plenty of room to open the lid of the bags fully? I am going to do the same but will probably choose the bags that lock on the top

    Tazzel;

    The bags open with plenty of room to spare. They can be locked with the pad locks that are supplied.

    Dr. John,
    Looking at your photos, I believe your bags are on the wrong side of the bike, the long slate should go to the rear not front....
    Look at the bags in the response under yours and I think you will see what we are saying... But I am not an expert, so I could be wrong...
    either way have a Merry Christmas and I am glad you are enjoying your new F3...

    Someone asked privately. I will reply to the group.

    I don't sell them. I got them from http://www.westendmotorsports.com

    The brackets were $160, http://www.westendmotorsports.com/ad...ackets&x=0&y=0

    The Saddlebags were $178, http://www.westendmotorsports.com/sa...ke-p-9193.html

    Default Saddlebag Install

    Just got the same saddle bags and easy brackets. Concerning mounting the easy brackets, I notice the angle on the 2 docking posts, where did you position the bag on the mounting plate? I do not know if you should make the bag run level with seat or how exactly? Thanks!

    Nice looking bags! They look good on the bike. Waterproof, big enough to be useful, and around 350.00 to boot. A lot better IMO than those 2000.00 dollar Corbin ones.
