i thought the honda was cool but the Yamaha looks awesome. I want one. would not be a good passenger bike which is mainly what i use my spyder for but still looks very cool and as fun as my current yamaha fz6r so maybe i will replace my sport 2 wheeler with a sport 3 wheeler some day. Since my current Yamaha was brand new 1/3 of an RT i wonder what the price tag will be on these.

What I don't find in the article, and was hoping to, is a discussion of the technical advantages/disadvantages of leaning vs non-leaning. His entire premise for the popularity of the Spyder is it's likeness in handling to ATV and snowmobiles, and thus reaching a crowd different from die-hard motorcycle riders. So what is still unanswered is how much the leaning concept will persuade the die-hards to switch to three wheels, and what the real riding/handling and physics differences are between the non-leaning and leaning. He doesn't say anything about what the gyroscopic characteristics are in the leaning trikes. Myself, I tend to think they aren't there to a measurable degree, but I could be wrong.
