Default With or Without Blue Ridge Windshield

I'm waiting for the Blue Ridge Windshield to arrive at the dealer. I rode on Friday when it was 64 degrees F. and I had to zip up my jacket after 20 minutes. Today it is 39 degrees F. I'm debating whether I should ride or wait for the windshield.

How much difference does the Blue Ridge Windshield make in terms of percentage of wind reduction for someone 5' 7"?

Update: I went riding for a few hours. I came home with frost on my eyebrows and a smile on my face!

Update: 12/8/15 - got the windshield!

    Default Blue Ridge Windshield

I have the Blue Ridge Windshield on mine, but due to not ever riding without one I will never know what the difference is unless I remove my windshield. All I can tell you as a newbie is I am loving the wind flow whilst riding with a Blue Ridge Windshield.

Dress warm and go ride. You will certainly notice the difference when you put the BR on but it's not worth wasting a riding day over.

I bought a BR on the day I bought the bike. I think it's perfect... can see over it or duck behind!

it's like night and day!!! Without a shield most of the wind is directed towards the stomach, chest and head area. With the shield some of the wind is directed towards ur head only. It was worth it for me to invest in the br ws. The ride is more enjoyable. As far as waiting for the ws or riding now... I will go with the latter. I will recommend enjoying the bike as much as u can now without the ws because once the windshield is installed it will change the dynamics of the bike and the ride is totally different. Only way to find out which way u like the best is ride ride ride. Good luck
