Check Engine light codes and solution
We have a 2015 RT with 4,000 miles on it and we've had it for 6 months. The check engine light came on with limp mode. We got home ok since we were only about 12 miles away. We checked the codes online, since someone here or on another site told us about the Google play app for Spyder codes. We had a code of P340 and then we had one P0000. We called the dealer who suggested we come in. The dealer told us that since it was still under warranty,
BRP can pick up the tab for towing. So they checked it out and the problem was the CAM shaft sensor had gone bad. They sell Ski Doos also and they simply took one off of one of those in the showroom and replaced it. Problem solved.

As long as your Spyder is under the original factory warranty BRP Roadside Assistance will cover towing service up to $200 per incident. If you need such service remember to tell the customer service rep you must have a rollback truck.

On our trip to Alaska this summer one of the 2014 RTs had the same problem. We went to one dealer in Anchorage who didn't even know where the battery and fuses on the 14 were located and another who knew what the problem was and who also took one off a display motor.
Sounds like your dealer is a keeper.
