Can someone tell me what the wires under the passenger seat are attached to?

I assume you're speaking of the wires that plug into the seat and disappear into the bowels of the Spyder. If so the wires plug into the passenger detection switch in the seat and connect to the automatic air damper in the rear suspension to alert the electronic wizardary you're riding two up.

Glad to hear that you've got the new 1330!
Those wires actually alert the braking system when you've got a passenger. The front to rear brake bias is adjusted accordingly!

(It does not affect the suspension...)
