    Default Service bulletin?

I have a 2009 Spyder that I sold and it had the recall for the bigger filter for longer service intervals, my question is how is the new owner to know how long between services when doing it himself ?

Is there a link to a service bulletin anyone know of?

It was not a recall. There was a pamphlet/addendum published with the new service interval changes, that was to accompany the existing manual. It was more than just the oil change interval that changed. It also contained stickers to put in the owner's manual on the appropriate page redirecting you to the pamphlet. My dealer at the time had a stack of them on the service counter. I doubt you will be able to find one now but it does not hurt to ask if your dealer still has one. Your best bet is to go the the BRP web site and download the pdf manual for a 2013 RS and print off the maintenance schedule from it. It is the revised one.

Every 5000 K's to change oil and filter in the 2009 maintenance schedule.

Just went to download from the website but it won't let me download it , bugger......I'm guessing it will be more K's next oil change.

    Default Let's see..!!

Not a problem. When he gets replacement filters he will find he needs a longer cover which the dealers should provide for him. They should also inform him of the change from 3,000 to 4,600 but that is a recommondation. Most oils start breaking down before or around 4,000 full synthetics a bit more. If you have contact you could tell him or write him...

Here you go, this is the revised Service Intervals Bulletin that was issued back in May 2012 which updated the service interval for the GS/RS/RT from 5000km to 7500km

Well hopefully if I've done this right - there should be two attachments, the bulletin and the revised schedule.

I had posted them before as links to my public OneDrive area but as people had problems opening them from there I thought I'd try uploading them to SpyderLovers instead - nothings ever simple:-)

I was advised by the dealer and asked a WHOLE BUNCH OF QUESTIONS. BRP MESSED up on this one but all is good. Everyone should be aware of this now. If not be advised of the change.
