Sheepskin Seatcover...
I just picked up a Sheepskin (Overland Sheepskin Co) to use as a seat-cover, but haven't had a chance to ryde with it yet. I've been told they are great in Summer and Winter, but it occurs to me that I've never inquired how they hold up regarding butt-to-seat traction in the twisties....
My sister-in-law has it right now so she can sew on some straps to keep it on the tryke.
Anybody have one and care to enlighten me about what I can expect?

I rode with one for a Season... it seemed to work as well in the twisties, as it did on the straightaways.
Oh! Tell her to put Velcro fasteners on the straps, and have them "slit" in the middle. It'll make it easier to affix and remove from the bike.
(The seat strut gets in the way...)

SHEEPSKIN
I had sheepskins on my Gold Wings for over 35 yrs., when I got my a year and a half ago, that was the first thing I put on It. I wouldn't ride without one, I even have one on my John Deere tractor, to answer your question about sliding around on the seat on a curvy road, I never had a problem with that..

My Misty Mountain has elastic on the left and right sides at the front, one that goes under - forward of the seat strut, and one with a clip that goes behind the seat strut. This system works great and the skin stays in place.

Mine is a form fitted full seat cover made by Sheepskin Factory in Denver CO. You must ask for the full fitted and formed cover not the pad. About $260. I don't leave home without it. It dries quickly incase of rain and is washable. He had to go to the Spyder dealer and measure for the comfort seat and it was a purr-fect fit!

Ive got one that's sounds similar to yours but my straps came on the cover. I use seat size patches or the same material all used under area rugs. Works well for me. Good luck.
