Broke mounting tab on mirror
Went to install mirror and found that the little plastic clip that catches the top pin broke. Can not find a part number to buy a new one? held on by two small screws. Part number not in the manual I have. Any help out there
Thanks

For 2014 RT's - #219800158 = $ 7.99 , at least this is the number at PROCALIBER.COM........Try and find a place that either ships for free or just go to dealer .......Mike

I broke the same one on the left side mirror. The little plastic mount catch is no longer. I usewd some electrical tape to kinda build up where its broke and is holding for now. I could'nt find a part number also. I hope we don't have to buy a whole side mirror. I have a 2014 rt lmt in flat silver

I have used that part # on 2012 and 2013 works better than 2013 part the 2013 part is very poor.

I still believe that my Dealer could have done better and just ordered the 2012 parts at half the price from what I paid.
From the Dealer at Honda House they are called Boitier Housing P/N 219800156 and that is for the two bottom at $29.98 for both
The top is called Housing Clip P/N 219800158 and it is $7.99. I did not see a difference between the left and right side.
http://brp.brewercycles.com/fiche_se...14&fveh=273877 for the 2014
http://brp.twincitiesmotorsports.net...15&fveh=273893 for the 2015
The online Can Am Parts Catalog had listed the following and calls them Pellets
RH Side
219800290 Front Lower
219800287 Rear Lower
219800289 Upper
LH Side
219800286 Front Lower
219800287 Rear Lower
219800288 Upper
Then I found out that for the 2012 Can Am they are less than $15.00 for all three and they are the same only different part numbers.

This comes up often. I did this spreadsheet a while back. Thank goodness we no longer run those oem RT mirrors.

Paul,
Is there any way that you could convert that into a .pdf file, and send me a copy of it?

If you would like, I can take a photo of the open .doc on my laptop and post it as a silly small JPEG.

What do you use for mirrors now? I have thought of changing mine out also as the OEM mirrors are partially covered by my elbows.
