Hi all I been considering this for a bit not sure if I want to go this rout. My spyder is Gray and my EXHAUST TIP & HEAT SHIELD are gray they look great so I bought the chrome ones put them on and they looked good but were missing something??? Well that would be the matching chrome sides, but of course they are expensive!!So I took then off and went back to the gray ones. I was wanting to know if anyone here has chrome sides and if so would you be as kind to post a pic of them so I can see if they are worth getting them...I am getting the back cargo trimSorry I have a 2012 RT metallic gray dose anyone have a metallic gray with chrome????

I love Chrome, it was the one thing that attracted me to my to my limited as it had the chrome I would have added to a standard and besides I got a good price. But the chrome helped.

One of things that attracted me to the 2015 RTS SPLC was NO SHINY STUFF.
The few torx fasteners that were shiny got a little help from
my trusty can of flat black paint.

The black paint was peeling off the muffler on my 2010 RT and I removed the muffler with the plan to repaint it. I used aircraft paint stripper to prep the surface before painting it only to discover that the muffler is stainless steel and looks absolutely great with no paint. The only weld joints are hidden and covered by the existing trim. One can of paint stripper and a toothbrush produced a beautiful custom looking exhaust.
As stated..beauty is in the eye of the beholder... Accents are nice and break up the monotony.. I vote "Yes" guess that canceles spyderAnn01's vote and your back at square one...

One of my previous 2 wheeled bikes had a lot of chrome on it and I hated having to polish it all of the time. I promised myself that I would never own a bike with that much chrome on it again. My current 2 wheeled bike has very little chrome and truth be told I wish the two side covers were blacked out so it had even less. When I was shopping for my Sypder I was really set on getting the RT-S because it didn't have chrome on it. I was planning on adding the GPS to the RT-S but later "settled" on the RT-Limited because the end of year close out sale that I was offered was a few $K lower than a regular priced RT-S. I guess you could say that saving money makes chrome a little more tolerable.
