Default Fuel gauge stuck on full - any fixes?

    Hi Guys

2014 RTs - My fuel gauge is stuck on full. Has been for the last week or so.

How do I get it to react as it should?

I had the battery disconnected yesterday and it was still the same.

    Cheers
    Frank

Analog or digital gauge? If it’s the analog disconnect it at the dash & use the digital. If it’s stuck too can try carefully using a coat hanger to poke down filler neck & maneuver the float carefully & or let the dealers tell ya
(Maybe use a plumbing camera to see https://www.walmart.com/ip/As-Seen-O...-Cam/800735601 )

Gauge is analog. And yes I do have a inspection camera.
Would like to keep it standard as possible

You can disconnect the analog gauges and the digital ones will come up on the cluster. If the digital fuel one works properly it's a bad analog gauge. If not it's the sending unit.

On my wife's 2012 RT, the analog fuel gauge was wildly inaccurate and the digital gauge was much more accurate. I eliminated the analog and added a clock and volt meter to the dash cluster.

I am not sure if the 2014 was improved? If not, a consideration (regardless of analog state) may be to use the digital gauge.

Did the same, love the look and the gas/temp guages on the digital guage are more accurate...

All of the advice above is good. I just want to make it very clear that both, the fuel and temperature gauges must be disconnected for the gauges to show up on the screen.

    All advice above is good.

The upside...enjoy the fantastic mileage you are currently getting...until the gas runs out.

reminds me of old prank I heard where this neighbor down the street had phenomenal gas mileage on his new car , turns out ol Andy was adding a gallon or two at night (back when gas was under a dollar) & then when Andy stoped the guy tore all through the engine trying to figure out what was wrong. Been awhile there may be inaccurate but you get the idea.

Did you add the Magic Mirrors recently? The magnets caused the analog meters to be affected.

That would seem to imply that it's not getting any power to it I think.

I've had no trouble with the fuel gauge on either of my 2014 RTs, other than accuracy.

I had the same problem with my 2015 RTSSE6. After the dealer changed the analog fuel gauge and the fuel pump sending unit it still didn't fix it. The dealer changed the entire digital dash to fix the problem.
