Will a ST shock work on a RS?
Curious if anyone knows if a 2013 ST rear shock will work as a replacement on a 2012 RS. Any thoughts or wisdom welcome!

Yes, it will bolt up. However, it's a downgrade for sure. Non-adjustable and softer.

So, maybe I would be better off having the guts rebuilt in mine or replacing with an aftermarket? I surely don't want to downgrade.

The shock itself isn't rebuildable. However, you can just buy the shock and move the spring/hardware over to it. Or go aftermarket. Really depends on how much money you want to put into it.

Agree..!!
if it's price shop around you can get low mileage rear shocks online and better than oem prices at other sellers...aftermarket shocks don't come cheap..
