    Default Hand Brakes

Due to physical difficulties, I am thinking of installing hydraulic hand brakes on my newly purchased 2015 RT, anyone using these... comments??
    Thanks

I added the ISCI hand brake 3 years ago and I rarely use the foot brake anymore. I added it because I was uncomfortable with my foot nowhere near the foot brake when using my seal floorboards.

ISCI is a sponsor and you can find a link to their website on the home page. They make a great hand brake.

I have had the ISCI handbrake for over a year. It is a great piece of equipment. Made my ride much much better.

Had mine since they first came out, (2009) would not own a Spyder without it. No issues at all.

    Default ISCI

Agree with all the above. I had one on my 2011 and now on my 2014 RT. Very high quality.

I have one. Made most of it myself. Love it, but it does require a strong pull if you don't use the footbrake as well.

I purchased the ISCI handbrake and I have been very pleased with it. I found them to be helpful, professional, courteous and have a great product for the price. I highly recommend them and their products.

Did you go cable or hydraulic as I know both have been tried in the past?

I'll about to make my own hydraulic setup using the Honda XS master cylinder and a push slave cylinder, just waiting for the last of the parts to turn up.

PS before someone says 'you should just got an ISCI'. I looked into that and it was going to cost me two and a half times what you'd pay in the US.

That's what I did. Used a 22mm bore bar mounted master cylinder & a slave cylinder to push the oem lever forward at the foot brake pivot pin. Total cost maybe $300CAD

    No problems with it
