Default Coming soon for the F3 (air ride)

Hope to have a very affordable air ride suspension ready to sell in the next few weeks for the F3. I want to make sure I get some miles on it first riding two up and then we will put the kits together. After seeing that they changed the swingarm on the F3-T to give it an air ride option I went forward with a project I already had in the works for the standard F3 and F3-S.

This system will make the F3 a two up Spyder and will solve any bottoming out issues. It's an air and hydraulic system to give you a smooth ride with max preload adjustment. I'm very excited about this project.

Great. That will solve one area of discussion.

What is it going to cost? If you don't have the exact number, how about a ball park?

    Thanks in advance.

I'll have options but hope to have the base kit without a compressor for around $300.00

There is no spring, this is a replacement shock with full displaced valving for a smooth ride in compression and extention. It's also a lubricated air sleeve for smoother operation.

BRP is going to list the parts needed to give it the same pull as an RT but it is not a recall or warranty issue. The F3 pulls the way it was designed to pull.

I got my bushings in and tested my setup and it did not go as planned.
The good news is I already have the parts on order for a better way of doing this and hope to have the prototype done before the end of next week. I'm 99.9% confident that this will be the ticket for the F3. I have one bracket to fab up and the install will be a snap and give us all that extra help we need riding two up or if you're just a big guy.

My first attempt failed. The shock I used was not strong enough and I was still going to have to build a safety bumper in case you lost all your air.

I ordered new parts and I was 99.9% sure this would work and I ran into more issues.

Today I ordered some more parts and I'm not going to say for sure now but my bike is all tore apart till I get something to work. I didn't think it was going to be this hard. Hang in there.

I eagerly await updates on this. Are you still looking at a $300 price range or have the problems driven up the costs? Either way look forward to hearing about the progress. Also what kin of compressor are you running?
