"Deader than a popcorn fart" or I turned the key, hit the switch...nada
Went out to start my spyder tonight. Sat down, put in the key, turned it, the normal start up stuff happened, flipped the red switch and heard a click from under me and now...nothing. no dash lights, no nothing. help?

Dead battery, bad battery, corroded terminals/ connections, loose connections.

Don't know year and model or what's been added. Dead battery start checking connections then try a jump. If using the car do not turn it on. If she start you'll have the answer. .

You have been bitten by the cursed Canadian engineering lack of current from the battery. Most batteries are unreliable after three years. Here in the heat of the Desert, only 2. Give the old girl a new batterie and she will have a smile on her face for ya!

Just as an update. It was the battery being dead. took it in and it tested at 7 volts. Stealership wanted 158 for a new one. Amazon only wanted 70. Got it, put it in...been raining since.

Something that bit me with an intermittent misfire issue, be sure to check the negative cable anchor point under the seat. If that connection is not super tight it will cause problems.

Location for auxiliary lights besides the front nostril holes?
After the last trip and close encouters with both deer and elk in Colorado i been thinking about led lights, walked around the spyder a few times and can not find a solid place for lights, any ideas?
