By connecting the brass bits on the two extreme ends to the valves on your front tires, you can use the middle 'T' piece valve to inflate both front tires at the same time to the exact same pressure!!

Didn't realize this was an issue.

Having the front tires with uneven pressure can cause handling issues. The dual fill gets them right on the money.

A good tire gauge will do the same IMO.

Not the same, but ALMOST the same! Good tire gauge and great skill in filling and checking to minimize air loss, you probably can get the pressures close enough to the same to not have a tracking problem. But I love my dual fill I made myself. The pressure gauge is on the hose and the chucks release very easily and quickly so there is very little air loss when removing them.

I have been installing them on trucks
on the duel rear tires since the early 60's
it makes it easy to inflate the inside duel
on trucks, one unit on each side ...
there is no reason this would not work on the spyder
to air the fronts up fast to the same pressure.
they are made by Schrader and Dill companys

My definition of same means that if the right tire has 19.00000 psi in it, the left tire needs to have 19.00000 psi in it. Now, for all practicality if we accept that the right tire having 18.9 psi in it, and the left tire having 19.1 psi in it, means they are the same then your definition of same is valid. I seriously doubt you, or anyone, can read even a good tire gauge any closer than about +/- .2 psi unless it has a large indicator face and marks on at least .25 psi increments. All tire gauges are mechanical at heart and will suffer from some resistance and latency. High quality digital gauges will have much less than all mechanical gauges.

When it comes to analog measurements there is no such thing as exact. There is always some error in the measurement, albeit that error can be made extremely small with very high precision measuring equipment. This is a simple fact of the physical world and is at the heart of quality assurance and process control systems.

I think there has been discussion here that pressure differences of as little as 1/2 psi between the front tires can have a noticeable affect on steering. In the absence of great skill and very good equipment, which is what most owners deal with, that difference can easily occur. The dual fill system goes a long way to compensate for those deficiencies, providing the chucks don't leak when attached and can be removed quickly with almost no air loss. I am quite mechanically competent, generally speaking, but the dual fill air hose sure has made my tire filling life a lot easier!

I think that this is way out of control , and agree that a good gauge would accomplish the same thing.

    Default Wow..!!

This is a choice and one that will not make or break you. I have one and use it because the large guage on mine is easy to read for old tired eyes, one shot of air and both tires are done. You can do the same with a tire guage and I do that on the road. It is easier to miss read a guage going from one tire to the other...imo...so I like them...

    Hi Bob,

Re: Is it still for sale,

It may not be. Fernandelle & I have been communicating via PM. I told him I would take it and I sent him a check this morning.

This selling thing should be simple....If you want to buy it or ask a question...DO it!...If you just want to criticize,or show people how you think it is a bad buy,or you have a better idea...go write a book on the subject....Drives me crazy when people who don't have a horse in the race try to ruin someone else's deals...

Try to be more tolerant and "get over it"! Maybe some chocolate would help.
