Kudos to you for knowing when enough is enough. Hope you have plenty of other fun activities, I'm sure you earned it.

serves to remind me that I am highly blessed. I am 79 (closer to 80 than 79) and still able to ride and thoroughly enjoy it. Praise be to the Lord!

Never say never
The reason that I have an RT is because of a man made knee that some illegitimate ortho butchered. The other knee was done in 2014. Yes, I do have to lift the right leg with my right hand but I still climb on the RT and go for it. This is one of the few pleasures that I still get to enjoy. Don't sell it until you heal. Look at that beautiful motorcycle and let that be your motivation. Keep saying" I will ride again". I'm not telling you anything that I didn't live out.

Sorry to see you go. I was/am looking forward to years yet of riding my Spyder. I'm 62 and just recently diagnosed with serious A-Fib and tachycardia (180 beats per minute). Leaving Saturday for a bucket list ride to see the Fall foliage in New England by way of NC (home state), VA, WV, OH, PA, NY, VT, MA (& Cape Cod), RI, CT, NY, NJ, DE, MD, VA, NC. I just added it in advance to my map. I'll have you with me in spirit my friend.

Craig's List here has about 100 Spyders for sale. No such thing as a classified ad anymore. I just don't want the hassel. Dealer takes 15% which I know is high but doable. This forum has been a lot of fun to follow. I never really had any issues with my Spyder but just can't handle it anymore.
Best to you, sir!!
